The final project meeting.

The final project meeting took place in Joniškis (Lithuania) 16-20th of May, 2016.

25 teachers from Poland, Turkey, Spain, Czech Republic and Lithuania participated in last meeting activities. The final project conference “Outdoor learning. How it works” was organised on the very first day of the meeting. Teachers from partner schools shared their experience gained in outdoor learning in six presentations:

 

“Our lanscape. Our home. Our school“, Giedrė Motiejuitė, Geography teacher, Joniškis “Aušros” gymnasium, Lithuania; 

“Outdoor Education in Czeck Respublik“, Michaela Seghmanová, Headmistress and ICT teacher, Obchodní akademie Dr. Edvarda Beneše ve Slaném, Slany, Czech Republic; 

“Outdoor Education impact into our school life“, Katarzyna Wozniak, English teacher, Zespół Szkół, Kobylanka, Poland; 

“Tools in Outdoor Education“, Aniana Diaz Gómez and Carmen Suárez López, Galician language teacher, IES David Bujan, Cambre, Spain; 

“Outdoor in Turkey Traditions and Everyday life“, Meltem Tunc, Science teacher, Kerimbey Orta Okulu, Samsun, Turkey;

 “Why Outdoor Learning“, Genovaitė Kynė, specialist of Lithuanian Ministry of Education and Science, vicepresident of Lithuanian Geographical Society, geography teacher of Vilnius S.Daukantas gymnasium, author of number methodological sources. 

 

A field trip to the Curronian Spit was held on the second day of the meeting where our guests had a possibility to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lithuania. Everyone was impressed by Žagarės regional park and different outdoor learning activities organized there.
