Seminar “Outdoor and Experiential Teaching”

Outdoor and experiential teaching, as an educational method, enables learners to observe their natural surroundings and know themselves and others better via experience.

It also helps to use this information efficiently for learning, self-analysis and communication or collaboration developing leadership or conflict solving skills.

On 17-18 February the teachers of our gymnasium participated in the seminar which aimed at the introduction of outdoor education and its implementation in the educational process. A two-day practical-theoretical seminar revealed new experiences such as self-actualization and education outdoors. Active methods, reflective task analysis and personal experience will be useful for various subject teachers, form tutors and school executives.
